What does your fashion say about you?

Throughout the years, fashion has been a huge factor in history. Huge names like Coco Chanel, Christian Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci have made a worldwide impact with their fashion.

Fashion doesn’t have a specific definition to its own term. Fashion has no name written over it.

“The latest fashion trend I’ll have to say would be Hipsters and Urban wear,” says St. Joseph Senior Deja Young.

Different cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami have their own type of clothing trend. Despite locations, fashion isn’t always about prices.

Fashion is something that you create and makes you feel good about yourself. This September, New York will be hosting another year of New York Fashion week. Different clothing brands join together to create a huge fashion runway show to create bright ideas for the future.

Big names like Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, and Michael Kors have made an appearance on the walk way.

“I love the uniforms, but I love to dress in variety,” says St. Joseph senior Kajah Griffin. She expresses that St. Joseph’s uniforms are a great way to save money, and doesn’t take time to choose an outfit to wear for the next day.

She claims that not wearing uniforms wouldn’t benefit her to express how she feels with regular clothing.

Fashion has its ups and downs when it comes to what you wear to just make you feel good. Nothing can stop you from doing what makes you feel good about yourself. So here’s my tip to give you today: go home, look in the closet, and choose something that makes you feel good about yourself, look in the mirror, and just smile because you deserve it!
