The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) announced the 2012-2013 State Scholars on November 21, 2011. Eight students from St. Joseph High School were named Illinois State Scholars.

The 2012-13 State Scholars are Rebecca Arriola, Kyle Campbell, Jordan Calabrese, German Fonseca, Trinity Dent, Kathryn Boehmke, Zarion Marshall, and Carlos Montero.

These awards are given to students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. Approximately, the top ten percent of graduates from approved high school are announced as State Scholars each year. Although the award provides no monetary award, it is a great honor that students can provide for college and scholarship applications.

Congrats again to the 2012-13 State Scholars.
