New Teacher Profile – Ms. Majchrowicz

            Ms. Majchrowicz is an out-going, organized and funny person who is in her first year as a teacher, not only just at St. Joseph, but overall. She is currently teaching Algebra I, Algebra II and Modern Algebra here at St. Joseph. She chose this school because she thought it was a great school and so far she loves teaching here. Prior to coming to St. Joe’s, Ms. Majchrowicz student-taught at a middle school after graduating from Loras College in Iowa.


Q: Why teach math?

A: “I have always liked it because there are many methods to solve problems.”

Q: Do you coach or run a club?

A: “Not at the moment, but I’d like to soon.”

Q: What advice would you give someone who wants to become a teacher?

A: “My advice is don’t let student teaching scare you.”

Q: What is your favorite band or singer?
A: “I listen to basically anything on the radio.”

Q: What do you do during your free time?

A: “I like to hang out with friends and travel.”

Q: Do you have a favorite quote?
A: “Life moves pretty fast, if you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

Q: What is your favorite sport?

A: Volleyball.

A: The Chicago White Sox.
