Coach Ashley Talley, the new head coach for the girls’ volleyball team, strives to make her team great.

A graduate from the school in 2008, she was a three-sport star at Joes. Also, she earned three letters in volleyball and was named to the East Suburban Catholic All-Conference team as a senior. She also received the St. Joseph Leadership Award and the Multi Culture Award.

Coach Talley attended Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she played college volleyball.

When she was asked why she played volleyball and wanted to coach for Joes, she stated “I have a passion for the game, and since I played already at this school, and I played on a collegiate level, I figured why not since I love the sport.”

We are happy that she came back to help and support our team, and with Talley coming back, the season is full of fun and excitement that adds to the passion and desire that the volleyball team has to offer.

Coach Talley is a fierce competitor, and an excellent coach and leader. Her skills on and off the court show her passion for the sport, we  hope she enjoys her stay and makes this season a memorable one for our team!
